Passport Issues

Lica sent in a note with passport questions.

Here is Lica’s e-mail:

Hello sir bob. Ill be going home this September. Im a dual citizen, US and Philippine, I have my US passport and my old Phil.passport but it is still valid. My question is, do I need a visa to go home to the Phil. or I just need to have my Phil passport even if I don’t have the visa thingy? And I only have 1 way ticket. What passport will I show in the O’hare Airport in Chicago when I check in? What passport will I show in Hongkong?
