Waiting Line

This is a very typical sight throughout the Philippines. Tricycles lined up.

This particular lineup of tricycles is at the entry point to Juna Subdivision here in Davao City.

These tricycles are waiting for passengers. They usually wait until the tricycle is full, but if someone pays for all the seats, they won’t wait. In most cases, here in Davao, if you are willing to pay for 4 passengers (sometimes less), then the tricycle will go with you as the only passenger. Under this arrangement, no other passengers will be picked up along the way either. You have paid for exclusive use
